Council ChambersThe Adelaide City Council is represented by 12 Members consisting of the Lord Mayor and 11 Councillors.

Council Briefings

Council briefings ('briefings') are designed to discuss topical issues that may come before Council.  They are not designed to be decision making forums.

Section 90(8) of the Local Government Act 1999 (the Act) recognises the need to  hold briefings to discuss issues as long as they do not make a decision or effectively pre-empt a decision on a matter that would ordinarily be dealt with at a Council or Committee meeting.

Council Briefings are held weekly and are open to the public.

Location: Colonel Light Room, Town Hall
Time: Tuesday evening between 5pm - 8pm
