Investment Prospectus
The City of Adelaide exemplifies the best of what a contemporary international city hub can provide. It is a place where the word ‘lifestyle’ is being superseded by a new term – ‘workstyle’, where the quality of the working environment matches that of the way people live in and enjoy the City.
The real beauty of the City, though, is that its obvious attractions are built on a solid backbone of business skills, research, experience and infrastructure that underpin a wide range of industry sectors.
With comparable costs to isolated fringe locations, coupled with high quality public amenities and enviable ‘workstyle’, the City provides the ideal location for organisations seeking a competitive advantage.
The City’s various retail and business precincts provide enormous opportunities, from innovative start-up companies taking advantage of low rent premises through to national and international organisations benefiting from a CBD building boom that is providing some of the most sophisticated and environmentally friendly office accommodation in Australia.
There’s a lighter side to the City, too, as the place where workers can enjoy a year-round choice of cultural experiences as well as its enormous variety of cafes and restaurants. Again, this is part of the City’s ‘workstyle’ – the ability to combine business and pleasure, to create networking opportunities, attract staff and build business contacts.
People ride their bikes to work, or use modern and convenient public transport. If they use their cars, there is plenty of affordable parking available. Importantly, twenty minutes gets you from the City centre to the hills, beaches or the airport.
That’s why the City of Adelaide is at the centre of the action in South Australia - and increasingly recognised as one of those rare places in the world where good business and good living can be combined so effortlessly.
Property Register
Adelaide City Council commissions a monthly register of smaller office, retail and warehouse space for rent and sale in the city. Vancacies in small office space, retail and warehousing in the CBD can be found through Enterprise Adelaide.
While we try to be as thorough as possible there may be some properties we miss and in the current climate space for rent and for sale moves very quickly, so please be aware that even though a space is listed it may have been let in the meantime.
Nevertheless, these listings will give a very good idea of what is available, where and for how much.
